A Vigil, on Pepsi Max and Tramadol*KeyWithoutATone made this for me today. I can say without a doubt that she is one of my closest and most valued friends. She's always there at exactly the right time, with exactly the right words... a simple, kind person.
Which makes me think of *athenaglaukopis, =SuperPorn, =deidaraart5, and ~HighHanded. Chill, kind people who are always there, simple and true. Two of the things which I value most.
That leads me to the other, which =deafmuted, =MizAmy, *sirenswell, ~BulletproofHarlequin and =kaijuuu have in spades... valor. They've fought alongside me tooth and nail (hi jamie, you sexy minx you~~~<3), as I have them. They'd never leave me behind. Not now, not ever. I'd probably be dead, metaphorically or literally, were it not for them.
And it's not just those people who keep me going, either. People like ~VauxKhaos, =Pockaru, ~NullWind, ~Fayleh, ~ElvenPaws, ~yuukihanabusa, :devmochii

Leap of FaithYour life is yours. You want something different? Don't like what you have? Then go change it. Get up off your ass and go do something about it, go make the change happen.
It can be hard and it can hurt, and it may cause a few fights along the way.
You want it? You really want it? Will all that petty shit matter when it's over? NOPE. Why? Because now you have what it is you wanted, what it is you fought for, and it is what you will accomplish because you worked at it and kept going forward with it.
This is not instant. Not in the slightest. It takes time.
It is easy to wish and to want, it is easy to bitch and angst, will you follow through? Will you take the steps needed to make a change? Or will you remain in fear/ self-doubt/ so forth? All excuses in the world won't change anything, only set you behind further and you'll miss opportunities, ones that could help change your life and bring you new experiences, who knows what you could learn.
